First Shared Streets Project in the Books!

The Melrose Ped/Bike Committee congratulates the City of Melrose, as well as the residents of Lynde St and Walnut St, for successfully implementing the City’s first “Shared Streets” quick-build traffic calming project on Friday, October 2nd. We were tremendously impressed with the dedication and enthusiasm of the residents, who came together as a neighborhood and decided to take action against the persistent problem of cut-through driving on this street.

Okay, it's settled.
