Boston Bike to Work Day 2026

Each year Boston celebrates “Bike to Work Day,” with group rides departing from many different area suburbs before meeting up in downtown Boston for a celebration. The group from Melrose departs from the bike racks in front of the YMCA at 7am. If you have never biked to Boston before, this is a great opportunity to do it in a safe group setting! The ride utilizes as much “protected” infrastructure as possible.

Boston’s National Bike to Work Day Festival celebrates National Bike to Work Day. It’s Boston’s way of saying, “Thanks for riding your bike today.” We think it’s important to celebrate everyone who rides in Boston. We also want to make it fun for experienced and new bike commuters by organizing group rides and a festival. This year we will celebrate from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m.
